MFKB is South Lakes only Muay Thai and
kickboxing club, set up and run by Marion Field, fully trained and
qualified martial arts instructor. Marion has many years experience
of teaching all ages and levels in martial arts, specialising now in
Muay Thai and kickboxing. She is 2nd degree Blackbelt in kickboxing,
and currently trains under well respected Muay Thai trainer Simon
Audley at Sapphire Gym, Huyton, Liverpool.

Marion has trained under many different
instructors over the years including 5 times world Thai boxing
champion Master Ronnie Green. She has studied many different
disciplines, including Torite Jitsu and Sanshou. She is an ISKA
qualified judge in Muay Thai, MMA, Kickboxing, Oriental rules and
Boxing and travels regularly to Thailand to further her knowledge of
Muay Thai.

MFKB teach a full Muay Thai syllabus and
an extensive Kickboxing syllabus which is based on Muay Thai
techniques giving students a good grounding in full contact
kickboxing, oriental rules, (similar to K1) European and Full Muay
Thai fighting. A grading system is in place for each discipline.

We encourage students to reach their full potential
and achieve their goals, whether in competition, or personal aims. Everyone
is welcome and we promote team spirit and a friendly training atmosphere.
Classes range from mixed adults to ladies only, and
also children's classes. We also offer personal training for adults
and children where you will receive one-to-one training tailored to
your own specific needs.
MFKB is active in schools throughout
the area, both in the curriculum and after school clubs. We believe
that martial arts give children confidence and self discipline and can
help them in all areas of life. We fully support the promotion of martial
arts in schools.
